In our minds we do think healthy eating means healthy foods are good for us. But there are some healthy foods that are not the best choice for women. Let me tell you about some foods that women should be careful about, even if they look healthy.
1. Soy Products: Soy has its health benefits, It is a good source of protein and the milk can be gotten from foods like tofu, soy milk, and edamame. But do you know soy contains compounds called phytoestrogens. These compounds in soy are not healthy for women, it can make them suffer a lot of harm. For women who have a history of sensitive hormone conditions, An example of sensitive hormone conditions is breast cancer, it is better to avoid consuming too much soy as a woman.
2. Flaxseeds: For the fact that flaxseeds contain Omega-3 fatty acids and fiber. doesn't it still make it healthy for every woman. You might even be saying right now, that this is good for health, but did you know they also contain lignans? Flaxseeds can only be healthy when you eat in small quantities. Eating too much may affect hormone levels. What should you now take apart from fruit juice? You can juice whole fruits. They are more healthy and can provide more nutrients.
6. Diet Foods: Just because it is a diet food doesn't mean it is healthy, the name might sound very healthy and good for women who are dieting, but the fact is it can be very unhealthy for women. Some of these products have artificial sweeteners and are made with chemicals that may not be good for your health. Artificial sweeteners can make you gain weight, and it might cause other health issues. It’s better to eat your natural foods and ensure you eat your food in portion sizes, if you want to lose weight, rather than relying on diet foods.
